Default dead pixels again (sorry guys)

I just got my PSP yesterday and I played it for the first time today. I do not know a lot about electronics and lcds and stuff like that so I don't really know if it is a dead pixel or not. It is on the middle of my screen to the right side. It is one small black dot. I know it can't be because I dropped it or anything because I did not. I can see the dot even when the PSP is powered off. So basically, the black dot is always there. I can see it from all angles when I rotate the PSP around. The weird thing is that I can't really tell if I can see the black dot on the actual screen. I can see it on the screen part I can physically touch but not under the plastic that protects the actually LCD. Sorry if it is real confusing but I really do not know if it is a burnt pixel. Please get back to me. I need your help.

its a dead pixel, but consider yourself lucky not to get a colored dead pixel, and to have only one.

It's not a dead pixel. How can you see a dead pixel when it's off??? It's prolly some kind of plastic defect or piece of crap under the screen. I know some guys who had bumps and dings in the screen. Nothing in common with dead pixels.

Does that black dot bother you? If yes then wait till your shop restock the PSPs and exchange it. DON'T FORGET TO CHECK IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!

Turn it on and examine the screen. Dead pixels should look like miscolored dots which never change their color or too bright/too dim dots.
