Dont get a 1gig memory stick! - PSP-Forum.com

Just a word of warnin for people wanting to buy a 1 gig memory stick, what would you do if 1) u lost it or 2) it was damaged or developed a fault?

Its a hell of a lot of memory to lose in one go!

My advice is to do what I've done and buy two 512mb sticks, it roughly works out at the same price anyway.

At least if you lose one or it developes a fault you have the other, and not all your saved data is lost.

Just a word of warning! :wink:

OK, what happens if u DONT lose it or if its NOt deffective, I acctually think that ur opinon is useless because it dosent make sence!.it If u have that mentality then DONT buy a PsP because U will lose it or it could be defective. :?

although his main reasons for getting 2 512 sticks rather then a 1 gig are kinda stupid, his other point (the price difference) was a good one, if you go into a store looking for a 1 gig but only find 512 and lower, your just as good as getting the equivalent of 1 gig. The price difference is meager, unless of course your a frugal (sp?) *******.

The only way I can lose my 1GB stick is if I lose my PSP. My memory stick is always in the PSP.

If you look at www.mymemory.co.uk they do a 1GB Memory Stick PRO DUO £99.99

and don't buy to kia's they are worth about £10 each LOL

Judging by your spelling and grammar your obviously too immature to appreciate that someone is trying to offer you advice. Instead you post some ****ty comment about how it was usless and doesnt make sense!

Please point out to me how my advice doesnt make sense?! Why buy a 1gig card when you can get two 512mb cards (which is 1024mb) for more or less the same price?!

I already have a PSP and have had one since Feb, so I have bought a PSP and I'm enjoying every minute of it! Has mummy or daddy bought you yours yet, or have you got to wait for Santa?

It just makes practical sense to split your memory up so that your not f*cked IF somethin goes wrong. ITS CALLED BEING SENSIBLE!

I suggest you GROW THE F*CK UP before your post anything else!

i sorta agree with MaTpSp one this one. It would be helpful to have one stick dedicated to music and game saves and then have an entire other stick for videos and movies, seeing as how space-heavy files of that nature are. :?
