Odds in getting a PSP running 2.0 FW Today in US? - PSP-Forum.com

Hi there,

I am going to be in Chicago for a business trip on the next week and I was wondering what are my odds of being able to walk into a best buy and buying a PSP running the fw 2.0. Are every PSP available today on stories running 2.6 already?

20-80 probably (2.0 has the lower side) some people might disagree but i dont (went to ebgames yeterday they still had 2.0's) so yes have fun trying to get a 2.0 (theres probably less of a chance of knowing if your getting a 2.0 because you cant liek ask them if they are 2.0's because most likely they wont know what your talking about

If you want a lower firmware, getting a used PSP will be your best bet. Those were turned in before the upgrades, and ten to one the store is to lazy to upgrade them. When I bought my used PSP it had 1.5 on it - I have since then upgraded. Happy hunting.

hehe tried that at best buy and and they wouldnt let me look at the boxes (they have them behind glass...)

Got it

Its a "C" (1.52) version.

Got a kid seller at Bestbuy and told him I would buy half of the store if the letter bellow the label on the box of the PSP was between A-F. He brough me to the place were the boxes are located and let me browse at will

Its almost done with the charging. Can't wait to upgrade/downgrade this thing.

they are still selling version 2.0... maybe mines is old i dont even know but its a PSP-1001

PS: bought mines 3 days ago from a game stop
