I have searched for this and just find tons of data on audio and video data transfer.
How do I transfer my game saves from my 32MB to a new (more memory) Memory Stick? |

You cannot transfer from memory stick to memory stick directly. There is no usable internal memory in the PSP to hold the contents. You will need to connect to a computer using the PSP or a memory card reader. Read the old card into your hard disk, then switch out to the new card and copy the data over.

Thank you for the responses.
I am a mac user and was impressed with Connect 360 by Nullriver so I decided to check out PSPWare. I installed it, performed a backup of my games and data, put the new memory card in the PSP, formatted the new card and restored my game saves from PSPWare. Worked like a charm. Now if I can just get Wipeout Pure to recognize my connection to get the new tracks and stuff....but that will be another post.. Thanks. |
