Well, i've been playing a few games, and i've thought "This piece of music is pretty cool." - but I don't want to waste battery life with the psp turned on to do this...
I was wondering if there was a way to use a computer to explore the contents of a umd, and extract the sounds as a compatible format. |

You can rip music from games but it requires the image of the UMD to be ripped onto your memorystick and then the audio files within the image be removed. The software that does this requires a V1.0/V1.5 PSP and no details are allowed to be posted on here indicating links etc. but it wouldn't be hard to find if you knew where to look.

I think you can still save yourself the trouble and just search for the pre-extracted mp3's on the internet.
If you don't know the name of the song just search "[Game] OST" or "[Game] Soundtrack" or something.
