newbie question, sound like very hard to understand. - PSP-Forum.com

i got my psp, from indonesia i guess, my dad get it for me. and now he is out station so hardly to ask him question...

i just download firmware from US sony. 2.6 version, i press update, and it blank screen like couple sec, and then it turn out some menu that only can see left arrow and right arrow and x button and o button available key for me to press.
and then it restart the psp. and i check the version of my, and it still software version 1.5?

1.5 is the best version?

because problem with some game problem... that not suppose to talk here that forums rules ...

dont update 1.50 is the best version u can play all home brew aplications and games and the games that u should not talk about so find out more about firmwears dont update without knowing i did that and iam stuck with 2.60 that suck but it is in porces of so it could be good and about games on 1.50 u can play games form 2.00 by mph game loader go to www.psp3d.com or www.pspupdates.com to find out more usefull stuf about psp

if you do want to upgrade for any random reason, that update does work, its how I done mine, but theres a way you have to press it, such as press right, then down right and circle, eventually the updating bar will come up and after, youll be rockin 2.6
