Default 1 or 2GB?

I have been searching around Ebay for a mem stick for movies. I wanna put 1 or 1 movies onto it using DVDShrink and PSPVideo9. I need to know whether or not i just need to go for a 1GB or fork out another $30 AUD or so for a 2GB for 2 movies. ? Also, i forgot to add - has anyone shop for psp mem cards on ebay? The cheapest i have found is from Hong Kong. Has anyone brought em from HK before?

I understand a single gig card will give you FAAR more than one compressed movie.

I was acually thinking, will it be just as easy to buy the umd videos or buy a mem stick? CAuse mem sticks are like $90 AUD here. and movies are only like $@0 or so AUD . Not too sure what that is in other currency but does anyone no the advantges and disadvantges with both ? sticks and umd?

Definently. UMD's aren't as good for movies as Sony would like you to think.

Cons:
1) uses more battery
2) costs more than a DVD
3) proprietary format
4) non re-writeable/can only hold 1 movie

2GB sticks are definently coming down in price. I think you can get them for around $120 (US Dollars). That's great compared to the $350 price they had last year. :P

Yup.. i live in aus too and it sucks cause for 100 you can ge ta 512 mb stick and for an extra 90 you can get a one gig, no idea how much a 2 gig is. Im savin up for a 1 gig for sure , the quality is pretty good, and after you ve watched the movie on the UMD you get bored of it, most people just watch it oof their stick and then delete it
