hey guys. just brought Initial D street stage and did the update that came with the umd. followed the on screen instructions. then got to the part where its commencing. it now says that the update is complete, press O to restart. but when i press O, nothing happens. what should i do?? i thought i saw somewhere that someone had this problem, and he unplugged the power supply then his psp was totalled. help pls!!!

ne1 pls?? my psp is just lying there. i wanna just hold the power switch up for 10 secs so it'll switch off. but im scared that it will brick it or woteva. but it does say that the update is completed, so wud it be alright to switch the power off?? actually, thats the only thing i can do right now since all the buttons dont seem to be working.

ooh. dont worry guys. ive fixed it now. just held the power switch up untill the psp swtiched off. then switched it back on and everything is fine now. pheeeeewww. dunno why it froze tho after it completed updating. neways, yay!! can play initial D now.

Same thing happened to me. I think it's a bug in the 2.6 update. Or it could just be those Sony programmers scaring the hell out of us for their own amusment. I turned it off to (thinking it was bricked), but luckily my PSP was updated successfully. Probably because it was 99% complete...

Ok what does it mean if your PSP gets 'bricked'? How does it get bricked? Also, I have 2.1 version, should I update to 2.6? Also, is it better to update it by using a umd or by internet? I don't know how you do it by internet because I havn't updated it yet.
