he has some valid points, i mean sony is crap when it comes to keeping their promises..but they have alot of promises to keep compared to nintendo! i realy liked nintendo, and bought all their consoles, and crap ever since nes. but the sony has more advanced hardware, and youd have to be an idiiot now to pick ds over psp. id have to say though..id rather nintendo had the better hardware, because i like their customer support, and everything about them. But sony is better has better hardware so its too bad. -atleast in portable gaming :P

Most of the things that came to mind after reading the Nintendo CEO's forum post have been said, such as who really needs 15 hours of continues game play and who is really gonna abuse there $250 PSP enough to break it? And what kind of nerd has that much time to post that much crap in one sitting? He did have two somewhat valid points though. The PSP is pretty expensive for a portable game system considering you need a 512 or 1gb MS DUO to get the most out of the system. But what do you expect, the graphics are damn near PS2 quality. The disc streaming point was also valid but the 1.8 gb of space and cheap manufacturing cost pretty much evens the odds. Also, one thing that you avoided was the fact that the PSP isn't exactly marketed towards 9 yr old girls like the Game Boy/DS! Just joking, I actually bought a DS two days after it's release and it was cool at first but there just wasn't any games I liked. (Its on ebay right now if anyone's interested!) By the way, that was a nice rebuttal Tekkblade 8)

First of all, you have WAY too much free time. Unless Nintendo is paying you to write all this, you need to find something more productive to do with your life. Now I'm not a "Fanboy" for either camp (I have a DS and a PSP) so don't think my opinion is bias toward either system. All I know is that the DS games that have come out to this point (or should I say the lack there of) SUCK. The only thing I use my DS for is playing my GBA games. So what if the PSP costs twice as much as a DS, $200 for a system you don't use and a game you don't play isn't exactly a bargin. I haven't sold my DS yet, but until a decent game comes out (which they eventually will) I'll stick with my PSP.

P.S. Instead of writing another fanboy thesis, get a decent job, buy both systems and stop bitching.

EDIT: PS again: my PS1, which is about 8-9 years old by now, has never missed a BEAT. MAYBE THE REASON YOURS BREAKS IS BECAUSE YOU TREAT YOUR CONSOLES LIKE $HIT.

i had a DS, i sold it after three days of having a psp. the DS has a serious lack of games. unless u like to play pokemon.

nintendo will die in the handheld area unless they can make something that can do all the things psp can. ds does nothing but play crap games.

i highly doubt that nintendo is going down in the handheld market. its been theirs since the og GB. but in the case of DS vs PSP like i said before im sure that owners of both (or previous owners :lol: ) know whos got the better product. DS was just too little too late. only game id want for it would be goldeneye or perfect dark. but since i sold my DS looks like thats not going to happen

lol just went to gamestop and took a look at the ds today. omg that thing is a disgrace compared to psp. i mean did anyone see ridge racer for the DS?? compare it to the psp ridge racer! its like pong vs. halo

so all i gotta say here is PSP is like the best electronic handheld device i have ever owned other then my motorola razr that i have..
