Default replacing the PSP analog button

the other day i saw this guy with a PSP that had an analog stick like the one on the actual PS2 controller instead of the flat analog button. this was pretty cool when i saw it and im thinking about doing the same thing to my PSP. my regualr analog is all scratched up and chipped anyway. can anyone give me any insight into replacing my PSP analog with a cool one that sticks out? is there a place i can take it to for that or something? also, what if i just want to replace my analog for another analog that is the same because my analog now is all messed up. suggestions?? :?:

Go to Gamestop. They have a pack of three replacement analog sticks for $5.

All you do is take the original off by yourself by pulling, don't worry it will work. Then just snap the replacement on.

thanks man. i also have one other question. ive used the R and L top buttons extensively and theyve gotten all scratched and beat up. one even gets stuck sometimes. is there any way i can fix this? maybe i could buy some sort of lube and put it in between the buttons so it works kind of like oil to stop it from getting stuck?

There is a tutorial out there that shows you how to take apart a playstation console controller and put its analog onto psp... I'm too lazy to google it but i've seen it out there...
Its basicly just pulling off you psp analog and pulling out an analog on a console controller, they both have the same "jacket" or "hole" shape that clips them into either the controller or psp... u know just snap on snap off kinda thing. Anyhow search it, you'll find it.

Yes, you can fix it by yourself by taking it apart. However, you are risking damaging your PSP and it will also void the warranty.
