There has been no word on a US PSP release date.
However, the Japanese PSP is out on December 12th

March 2005 is supposed to be an estimate date, it is likely it will be around march, although no specified date has been released. Only 2 weeks till the Japanese launch though

Looks like back in November we were correct about the estimates.
Yes the PSP is released on the 24th in the US
