Well, for people living around Bedfordshire there is a place in Bedford town center that does virtually all the American and Japanese releases (although they are cutting back on the Japanese releases now the American games are coming out) for £40 a go. It's called 'Close Encounter' and is opposite MVC on Midland Rd. You can get the games cheaper online but it doesn't feel quite as nice as walking out of the shop with it in your hand so it's worth the extra in my opinion

Well if you get them from hong kong or japan and you have to pay import tax remember its The Normal 17.5% plus 12% import tax, Plus you have to pay who ever comes and asks you for the money It was parcel force with me when I got something from Canada, But as its a small package you might get away with it
If you don't it will cost you more £32 plus a total of 29.5% tax then it costs you £40.34 ish plus you have to wait upto 14days to get it. |

I recently received Ridge Racer for PSP (£26 del) from VG+. They always mark their items down as a 'gift' and undervalue the item so that it avoids customs. My $55 game was marked down as $20. In this way people were able to get PSP packs with up to 5 games past customs with nothing to pay by ordering from VG+. |

I got my item devalued from canada.
but the point is it can happen and as more and more people do it the harder it will get to get away with it. And if they check what is in the package and they sometime do you will get hit hard, and if the PSP does not come out here till jan 06 what you going to do for cheap game imports as they could watch what you get set. Like I said I got the console the same day saw it working I rejected the machine that had a dead pixel. tell how many of you can say you did that. Now look at the price and think he has a good machine. thanks |
