Default USING NETWORK UPDATE WITH WIFI

I have a Jap PSP and i read there was a real update. so I setup my wifi on psp. Did the update. using wifi

Now the wifi will not find anything all settings are right its using adhoc.
Anyone had same problem?

I don't have any network games so just using the network update features that is built in the PSP.

Help.
