Default Can you recommend a USA site that will ship a PSP to the Uk?

Had ordered a PSP from DvdSoon but now they tell me they only have the Gretzgy pacjk in and that I would have to cancel my order at $240 and have to pay $400 for the Gretzgy pack. To hell with that. It's like paying an extra $160 Cdn for a game that I don't want. Therefore I'm looking for a USA site that will ship me just the value pack. Any syuggestions. :?:

I would actually recommend you get a japanese psp, since the games are universal, but not the umds (the movies), and since you live in the UK you wont be able to play umds you buy in the UK on an american psp, will you will be able to on an japanese psp, becuase I believe japan and the UK have the same region code.

you can play uk games on a us psp and japanese games on s us psp, however to RobN i would get a japanese psp, they are cheaper, play uk umd movies unlike us psps and other than the swaped X and O on the main menu (not in the games) are the same. ps does anyone know wheter the lik-sang systems are us or jap, it doesnt say

Thanks for the replies. But no-one has actually answered my question. The point of me ordering a USA PSP, (rather than a JAP PSP), was that I could take advantage of the fact that it's far cheaper to import UMD movies than it will be to buy them in the UK. DvdSoon has them for $20 Cdn. There's no way they'll be that cheap in the Uk and therefore I have no intention of buying UMD's in the Uk. I rarely buy dvds in the UK as it is. I have a multi-region dvd player so tend to import dvd discs from Canada. In the UK dvds are £14-18 from net shops, yet £9 or so if I import.

Is there not 1 company in the USA that will deliver internationally? I mean, I know of 3 Canadian stores, (DvdSoon, DvdBoxOffice, VideoGamesPlus), so I can't imagine there aren't any in the USA.

You have a small problem in that every single USA PSP has effectively been sold before release so getting one on import is not going to be easy.

http://www.importmadness.co.uk/cgi-b..._Number=240067

This place does it but it lists it as not available. Even Explansys USA lists the USA PSP as being not available until 15th of April - they have obviously sold every one of the first batch they got in. I suggest you will need to either wait a couple of months if you really insist on a USA model or just buy a Jap one which you could have within a week from www.gbax.com who are based in Newcastle.

I had read reports of stores having PSP's unsold and that the initial 1 million was yet to sell through. I assume importmadness is a USA site. Though for some reason I thought it was based in the UK. I'm sure I've used them in the past!? £150 seems like a reasonable price.

edit: I've just realised it's Canadian.

This is very misleading because gbax never includes VAT in their display prices - you only find this out when you come to pay for it. This will automatically add £35 onto the £199.
