Default PSP will not turn on. Please can someone help?

I wondered if anyone out there can help me please. I bought my PSP in Florida on holiday in June and it has sopped working. It started freezing out, then it said it had errors, now it will not turn on at all. I have tried all the obvious things, like taking out the battery and leaving for a while, a different battery, taken out memory card, tried starting it whilst plugged into charger and nothing. The green light comes on but nothing else. Does anyone know what I can do because I am so disappointed. Many thanks.

it almost sounds bricked to me, but I dont know for sure if the light comes on then....
well Amanda, why dont you tell us what you did before it stopped working?
And you bought it in another country than where you live, so the warranty would be a bit hard to use, right?

if you read your manual, where it tells you stuff not to do, and if you read that you have done it, then it might give you an idea, like playing it on the mains with no battery in it then turning the mains off.

The last thing I was doing was playing a game online. I turned it off after the game and it wouldn't turn on again.

Have read through the manual and can't see anything that I may have done wrong.

Haven't downloaded any homebrews. I have downloaded some music and pictures but all by cut and paste from my computer and I've checked those files for viruses. I have upgraded version 2 and version 2.5.

I bought this in Florida and I live in England thinking (naively) that as Sony were a worldwide company it would be OK!!

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get it working again. Thank you!

call Sony´s tech support in your country, it should still be their responsibility to get the crap working again
