Default Connection Failed!

I dontk now if this topic has been brought up...But...Any help will do so...Ok,I can connect online and everything and join the lobbys with Twisted Metal ( the only game i have so far ) Using my wireless router...but everyime i try to join a game...it always says Connection Failed...I can play with my friends using the Ad Hoc mode...but i cannot join games when i go online with it...Im either thinking its my router...or my PSP Online is messed up. ( I heard 6% of PSP's came defected, I know this cause at my store we had a lot of them lol )

Default Connection issue

i had the same thing going on with my PSP, i could scan my Wifi network and find it, but when i did a "test connection" and or tried to play twisted metal online it would fail.. come to find out i had to config my Wireless G router, to be a mixed enviorment, which included 802.11B, PSP can only be used on 802.11B for some reason, once i changed that setting on my router the PSP worked fine... hope this helps

Default Fix with MAC

If you are using a wireless network you have to make sure that your network recongnizes the MAC address of the PSP, which you can get from itrs menu. I use the apple airport, go into airport admin utility, configure and then add in my MAC PSP address. Your SSID is the name of the netwok and the WEP password is the password to connect to teh wireless network (HEX code). EZ
