Default Synching my PSP with my home network...

Im having trouble getting my PSP to connect to my home network. I have a netgear MR814v2 80211.b wireless router and i have gone through all the steps, my router has detected the PSP MAC and i have added it to the access list but i still can't seem to connect when i test the connection i keep getting a connection error 80410D07. Also what's the benefits of connecting it to my home network since i have no browser for it to access the web, will i be able to transfer files to it?

hmm. I haven't had any trouble connecting to my network or any other. Connecting to the network isn't really for browsing the internet, it's mainly for a) updating the firmware on the psp or b) playing with other psp owners but I guess you can do that on the ad hoc network also. But I haven't tried that yet though.

Default network problems

I have updated my psp using the wifi link and its now 1.5 but the wifi no longer works. I'm using ad hoc as i have a usb wifi on my internet pc.
Just keeps saying cannot connect to access point.... BUt was able to to do the update very strange

I wonder if this is a way Sony screws with us a little.

?

I detect other signals from wlan networks in my room, but when i try to connect i have the same problem..error 80410D07. unreal suggested typing the dns, and ip manualy which you should try since you have them. I on the other hand cant just knock on my neighbors door and ask them if i can jerk around with their router lol. you should also try reseting the router.

I think that error 80410D07 is a surver buisy error, or a protection code because when i go to places that have signs that say "free wifi hotspot" i am able to connect withought a problem, perhaps because this connection code is disabled so people can use it free. your router could think that your psp is a foregin connection, and is to be ignored, you can probably fix this try screwing around with the settings.
