Default Newer PSP Versions?

Are all the PSPs now released with 2.50? And can I just ask, is there any difference "hardware-wise" between the PSPs released first, and the ones made now (besides the japanese ones with SHARP screens, etc.)? Like are dead pixels still that much of an issue or has that been resolved? Thanks.

I don't think so. I have heard the new white PSPs have had the square button issue fixed (it not being right above the switch etc) and maybe that has also been applied to the newer black models too.
