The reason why most people are downgrading to V1.50 is because this enables you to run homebrew on ur psp. Find out more about this at the hombrew section of this forum. Too ur question about is V1.51 good, well, you should have got a demo disc in with ur psp which also contains the upgrade to V2.00. You might as well upgrade to V2.00 as this gives you quite a lot more facilities than V1.51 such as an internet browser and the ability to change your background.
