hi, does anyone know if you could attach a detachable harddrive eg. 40 GB, in stead of using a memory stick.

cheers

quick answer NO

not so quick, NOT YET, see this gamespot article (kaa, it's not released yet!)

Long answer. Well I am working on somthing portable that lets you choose files over wifi then copies them to memstick though FTP(1.50 homebrew) or USB. It's a long way off though and may be outdated before I get it finished

There is also talk of sony developing a model with a built in HD, coming out sometime next year

If they sell that 4GB hard drive add on someone better make a carrying case that fits a PSP wearing one.
Also, that would be evil of SONY to release a better version of the PSP only a year after the first one. LIke giving a big finger to the folks who buy them this christmas. Or me, who just got one this weekend. They should just make something that adds on, like this other company is doing.

Not internally but they have special PSP compatible harddrives. I've seen one go up to 90 gbs..

Btw, PSP + Hard Drive = t3h pwnzorz.

Just found this picture of the datel one.

Sorry, it's wayyy to big for my liking. I'd rather have a 2gb card.

I have a feeling that sony WILL release a new PSP with an internal hard drive. Especially looking at how this works

Wow big huh! Plus if you dont buy the larger battery, then you will have to hold the PSP lopsided.
