Default Hi, i'm having a lot of trouble viewing my downloaded videos

When i go to 'video' it just says that i haven't stored any when I HAVE!!! I've done it all on the computer, i've even downloaded off this site!!! I've defienetely got enough space and i'm certainly using mpeg so what's wrong??? Please help if you know ANYTHING that might be useful to me, thanks,

Where are you putting them and what are you calling your movies?
The PSP is really mad about file names, both the folders and files need to have a numeric sequence to them .

MP4 movies should be in
<MEMSTICK>\MP_ROOT\100mnv01

The should be named something like
m4v00001.mp4

Personally I would copy all my file onto the PC, use something like PSP9 to reformat the memory stick, then copy everything back. It'll make sure you have all the right folders

i know you probably get this all the time but.... call me thick, but iv just downloaded pspvideo9 tried to use it, correctly (i think) followed some instructions step by step, but still i cant view pictures! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??????? its really starting to drive me nuts! im crap with technology so could someone please please please give me easy instructions on how to send videos from the pc to the psp???

Stay cool millsy, thats the first tip.
1. Have you formated the PSP's memory card with either the PSP or the PSP9 app.

2. Have you used the file transfer bit of PSP9 to upload what you want?

Basically, more info on what you have tried

ok so far ive formated the memory card, and on the removable disc (E set up a PSP file with MUSIC, PHOTO, SAVEDATA and SYSTEM folders, also set up a MP_ROOT file with a 100ANV01 folder! then i downloaded the psp video 9! so far so good, but now i dont know what to do with it all, its just complete computer cobblers that makes no sense to me at all!

all i want to do now is take my personal videos off my computer files and watch them on the PSP, why is this so difficult for me????!!!!! sorry to be a big pain! :lol:

Download psp video express from download.com its free. this automatically places the video files in the right place.
