Default World Series of Poker

Not sure which group this note should go in, so I thought I’d throw it here. Feel free to move if the site admin feel it’s more appropriate someplace else.

I just got my World Series of Poker UMD and threw it in my PSP v1.5 and about freaked when I saw the first thing that came up was an upgrade to v1.52. I thought one of my kids somehow accidentally downloaded the update and just didn’t install it.

Anyway, the point is to add World Series of Poker to the list of games that require a firmware update. I’m not sure if a list is being kept or not, but I wanted to give warning before people considered getting it. I know there is some kind of program that will fool your PSP into thinking it’s a different version but I’ve never used it.

It’s real scary how “easy” Sony is making the firmware upgrades available in the new games.
