i dont know anything about wireless connections and was wondering if i got a usb wireless adaptor available on ebay to plug in to my pc would it enable me to transfer files instead of the usb cable

that is a good deal for budget buying. I'd suggest a G rated router just to be compatible with any wireless product you buy for your pc. B normally works with anything but G rated routers are a little better.

Stop confusing the guy. No, you cannot use the wifi to transfer files to the memory card regadless of what you use. The only way to put files on the memory card is to use the USB cable.

no you can use your home wireless network and the psp (should) find it - i can use the psp with my wireless router based network to
