Alrighty then...Don't flame me for this. This is not another PSP vs DS thread. This is simply comparitave specs. I am not saying one is better then the other because its the game that makes the system. But take a look.

Hi! I'm new around here...

:: applauds:: Nice info, and I agree that the type of games make the system. But nice going neverless finding the specs.
Remember, it's always the preference of games and you need to give nintendo the credit they tried to create something beautiful but sony has surpassed them spec wise. Not that I'm saying DS is a POS, in fact I think some of the games are quite interesting. It all comes down whether you like party games which have a cartoon-ish feel to it or more realism (although ps2 does have nice rpgs, kudos to square enix). One thing i'd like to mention about the psp though...does anyone else wish psp had a touch screen like DS? It seems both handhelds are evolving into pdas/ppcs anyways and a touch screen would make navigating that much easier. Just a thought.

Frankly the touch screens on PDA/DS alike annoy me. I have a PDA and I just don't like it. Maybe its my hand control on the stylus. I have horrible hand writing but I can type 90 words per minute. So it is easy to see that I prefer buttons over hand controlled stylus. Not to mention you can lose the stylus easily and then you have to use your fingers that greases up the screen worse then a 1970's biker movie.

Well as far as specs go, the PSP wins everything except for battery life. However in retrospect, if the DS had the same specs...the battery life would be very similar in both units...again I am not taking sides..just pointing out the specs.
