Where is it hanging up at? I'm thinking its a computer problem not a PSP problem. Sounds like it has some communication issues.

Find out the exact error. What operating system are you using?

Is this happening on one specific file or all files? I'd try to get ahold of Norton Utilities and run Windows Doctor to clean up any deleted or wrong file paths. try making a copy of the file and dragging it into the portable drive for PSP

No...the error its giving, is basically telling you "I don't know where that file is to copy it" Which is wierd cuz you can play it from that file on the PC. I don't think its the cable.
