'de'? Come on, you're only saving yourself one letter to type!

Texting on mobiles has a lot to answer for!

Anyways, best to put your question on an appropriate thread or start a new subject so the wise ones spot it and can offer you some advice.

Mrks

Default NEW TO PSP

HELP!!!!!

I'm looking around for a PSP for my sons birthday (8th) and i am just so overwhelemd by the ammount of information to the point of confusion so i have a few question which would by very greatful for answers to without looking around for hours. so here we go

1.WHAT IS AN Emulator?

2.Can you covert your ps2 games to play on the psp?

3.HOMEBREW GAMES ( and /or movies) how much memory will the average game take

4.do you need a game disk in the psp ( any ) to play homebrew games from memory stick?

5.what accessories are best for a young lad to use and protect the psp? :P

finally

6.version 1.5 seems to be the best to go for but will this play newer games or is thier a web site that has the homebrew versions of the games now or in the future ( i know i might have to wait for them )instead of upgradeing and downgradeing with all the problems that this can have? :? :?

MANY MANY THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME WITH ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS

JAP PSPs have better LCD screens, thats the only hardware difference. There are obvious region differences with the firmwares.

Currently. homebrew only works on firmware version 1.5.

Now look around the site some more and any other basic questions you have like this will be answered without the need for a post.

Can you please put up the video that fixes stuck pixels? I have 1 stuck black and 1 stuck white. I tried a video from another website, ran it for about 12 hours, no change.

If you've already tried a video, then there's no need to get another one. It's not very successful, so you can't really expect a change. Since you asked, This site has a link to the video.

Any chance you can give a direct link? The only thing I found there was a dead pixel checker, basicly pictures with different colors that I can use to check for more dead pixels. I couldn't find the stuck pixel video though.
