Default Sell your PSP while it still works?

Hi

I'm a 32 year old family man with two kids, just to set the picture as they say.

On 5th SEP 2005 in toysrus in the UK, I got myself a brand new PSP.
There are three pixels that will not do black. BUt two of them are greyish in colour, The otherone is very bright white.

I know they have this problem but the point is. I telephoned Sonys UK help line. Only to be laughed at while the person said as there was only 3 pixel problems, Sony would do nothing which is fine its the next bit that got to me. BUT while he laughed again and told me that they would ALL die over time. I swore at this person thanked him for getting me to waste £250.00 on a PSP plus games and I hung UP.

This happened today and I not very happy, I took My PSP to Gamestation and sold it with 2 games for £130.00. Only lost £120. better than the full £250.00 I guess.

They told me if they got any back with dead/stuck pixels that was to send them back to Sony...

take the as you may. I'm not a big fan of Sony to start with, But this just makes me even more ****-d with them.....

hmmmm I think you were a little hasty me old mate.... some people have dead pixals and some don't... some grow a couple extra but the majority don't. Think the cretin on the end of the phone to you was way off the mark to tell you that they would all drop dead after a while.

That's just part of Sony's horrible market strategy to **** off as many followers of theirs as possible.

That guy must have heard that comment so many times... He's just an idiot. (It's not true. 3-5 pixels is as many as you'll get. Plus if he meant eventually, he meant like in the next 1000 years)

It is sad to say that some eople get so hyper about a new piece of kit that when it arrives if it is not 110% perfect and fulfills their wildest dreams then a sad disappointment settles in.

Still I hope he finds the right platform for his game playing and he is happy in the end.

Me I love my PSP (although I don't have any of them pixel dead thingies either).
