Default anyone problems with D-pad?

I have a PSP with Tony hawk. Do you also have problems with directional tricks? (varial kickflip, varial heelflip, hardflip, inward heelflip). I have to press really hard or really long. I got a new psp from sony and it solved the problem a little bit. I still have to press hard to perform an directional trick. (this psp has also 2 dead pxiels, the first one hadnt )

Hmm bad luck fella... had no problems with mine at all...

Is it just sticky and perhaps needs a little WD40 to free it up???

Please keep us informed as to what you have done etc etc to rectify this problem.

the only problem i have when playing thug2 is moving on foot with the d-pad. its kind of a pain to move diagonal directions. it would also be better if you could run with the dpad without using the x button.

Yeah, I tried at first to use the D-Pad for movement on GTA:LCS but moving in diagonal directions was just impossible. It just seems like there are 4 directions on the pad and these cannot be combined to perform diaganol movement if you get my drift

You can use the analog instead and it works better and all time you run.

in all tony hawks underground games and american wasteland they are really bad at directional moves. i got soooooo ****ed at american wastleand cuz i culdn't do directional moves. i think it's more the game being not that good. i still like the tony hawks dont get me wrong its just the diagonal controls for the game.
