Default How to: Moving wallpaper/background

Dear readers,

i think you all noticed that the background of your psp is animated.(moving) I know you can change your wallpaper and choose out of different colors but i want to know if it is possible to make your own animated background/wallpaper(s).

I don't think it is possible. You could try selecting an animated gif but I don't believe that works. I think it only shows the first frame.

Default I have tested.

I tried a gif and it only shows the first frame. PNGs and Jpegs don't support animation.

Currently I don't think it is possible. Sony may be using a video file. Which you can't set as wallpaper.

I would love to be proven wrong about pngs not supporting animation please post a link to an animated png.

I know apng and mng are around but I don't think the PSP supports them. If it does that would be great.
