Default Wriststrap Problem!

Waaah... I hate signing up to forums. You can never have enough usernames/passwords to remember, right? So I only register at places these days if there is dire need. And there is dire need...

I accept in advance all jeering, flaming, name-calling, and general ridicule that may come my way

I have had my PSP for over 1 week now and... I cannot work out how to fit the ******* wrist strap! I've tugged it, pinched it, even bitten it in various places once or twice, and I cannot fit the damn thing. The little grey loop at the bottom does not unloop in any way. I can see much more grey stuff embedded in the bottom of the wriststrap proper - do I have to open the strap somehow, to get at some secret gizmo hidden inside? (This is where the biting came into things.)

So, someone, anyone, please help...?

sounds like its faulty, there should be a loop at the endabout 3-4cm long. Sound like you need to pull it out or send it back. :?

No, It'll fit. Pull the little grey loop through all the way, until it hits the stud in the PSP hole. Then take the farthest end of the strap and put it through the grey end that already made it through. Now, it'll look like the stud won't fit through, but it will. Yank the stud through the grey hole and you're done.

No, there wasn't a fault with the strap or with the grey loop. It's attached now. It's done. Thanks FalseProphecy. It seems so simple now. The farthest end of the strap goes through the loop! That was the answer all along! This embarrassing fiasco reminds me of my times on the old Tomb Raider games when I would wander around seemingly locked rooms for ages, until spotting the always-obvious nose infront of my face, or door or ledge or whatever....

Cheers.

I really want to know why they made an all black PSP and then made the strap and headphones/remote white. Yep, if the metal part of the PSP was painted white it would go but personally, just having white accessories looks a little daft.
