Default PSP not charging

Hi.
I plugged my psp in to charge yesterday and nothing happened. So i changed the lead. When i plug it in the amber light doesnt come on but when i goto the battery Info menu it says:
Charge level 5%
Hours left:----
Power source: external
Battery Status: Charge complete

when i remove the power lead the green light starts flashing again.
That means my power cable is working because i can use the psp as much as i want when its plugged in but the battery isnt charging.

any tips?

hahahahaha

Ok the power leads used to be a real problem with the PSP's with a few people mentioning that they heirs had stopped charging. Mine did the same so had to change it from the store I got it from... as it turned out mine was caused by the cats chewing on the cable :?

Alkways check the cable for breaks and kinks and twist the cable about to see if it is a bad connection. If you have a mate with a PSP try his charger out on your machine to find out if it is the charger of the unit that is at fault.

Glad you got yours sorted.
