Corrupted files... - PSP-Forum.com

hey, i got my psp a few days ago and got into it pretty quick. its all pretty self explanatory but im having problems with puttin files on the memory stick duo. i dont have a memory stick drive so i connected to the pc via my usb cable and psp. i opened up the psp folder and copied the photos into the photo folder and some music into the music folder. the second that i transferred the files the window closed down on the pc and to transfer more files i had to open it up again. it did this aout 4 times. it didnt say nething about it in the manual so i was like "wtf?". finally i got all my files across and it was all goo until i went to use them. some of the photos didnt display cuz they said they were corrupted and the mp3 played for about 20 secs before they said corrupted too!
what the hell??
i did everything in the right steps and i dunno what to do. any ideas or advice? :?

sounds like a dodgy USB cable mate.

nvm i fixed it. the problem was the usb cable. instead now i just insert the memory stick straight into the computer and transfer stuf that way.
