Hi! I'm new around here...
|
People seem to think the DS is ugly and has horrible graphics. Neither of which are true. I think the DS looks fine. The PSP looks better, but I don't think HOW it looks really matters. Plus, graphics aren't very imortant. Graphics may get the audience, but the gameplay keeps them which at the moment the DS seems to have better gameplay with the new features. Plus, the graphics on the DS aren't horrible, just not PSP quality. A side note is that the DS runs at 60 Frames per Second while the PSP runs at 30 Frames per Second, which means the DS looks better while in motion, while the PSP does not look as good as the screenshots show. Please do not flame or lock this. I'm only defending a system a lot of fanboys are bashing when they know nothing about it.

I don't think the DS is a bad system at all. My little brother has one, and I've played with it quite often. The only reason I got the PSP over it was because the games for the PSP is more appealing to me and the ability to make it an MP3 player is very convenient for me. I do notice that the DS does seem to run smoother as you describe. I just hope this does not turn into another "PSP > DS" or "Ds sUXor" thread.

people lets try to keep this cilvil... my friend has a DS at work an i have been playing to pass time, its not bad at all.... spiderman is pretty cool on it so it wario ware... the only thing that does not get the DS's vote in my opinion is that the buttons for me are way too small. I tried playing metroid and it was very hard for me. The halo type controls were pretty logical and i loved how it moved just like halo... its just that my thumb itself occupied the space of 2 buttons and therefore i didnt like holding it.. Playing spiderman on it was a different experience for me tho. I still prefer the psp over the DS but it is not a bad system at all. It just that this is a PSP forum so many will disagree with cuber.

:? Here you are back again ranting and raveing about the DS. I think you are being to touchy on this subject matter. I have the DS, will never sell my DS, and play it every day. But I also want the PSP. I see more possibilities with the PSP as far as the Interenet goes and user connectivity. Plus the PSP does have better graphics and a sleeker design, and I like those things, haveing my bulky DS all the time in my purse does get irritating. And better graphics is sometimes, what its all about. So my final statement, both are great, both are worth getting, but its the price that gets ya!

the only disapointment about the psp is the battery life, compared to an ipod its crap.
