The whole framerate thing, apparently over 25, we can't notice it anyway. The only worry about that is as games become more advanced, it may begin slowing the framerate down drastically. Just like the PS2, play Splinter Cell, it is MUCH smoother on the Gamecube. The PSP really should have a higher framerate than it does. Was one of many hardware mistakes. That's not saying the DS is perfect. Both have theit flaws. But personally, I play both of them. Don't see the need to get one and ignore the other. I'm a gamer. I play games. The console is what lets me play the games, the more consoles, the more games
