psp movies ARE multiregional but the firmware isn't. Basically they can play movies from any countries but with the firmware sony has constricted this.

But there is a way around this

Basically if u have a US psp in the UK make sure u update it with UK software and u can then play UK movies.

Default Wifi - Compatibility

I have a US psp and have tried to play a mulitplayer game against a UK psp but they will not find the created games once set up.

We both have the same games but his is the UK game and mine is the US version. Out of three games only one will allow us to play against each other but only if we connect via GamSpy.

Is this normal?

Yes. However, it is not the PSP that is causing it but the region difference in the games.

The games are not region coded which is why you can play any game on any PSP. However, the multiplayer is incompatible on most games between regions. It has always been like this. Back in March last year, I couldn't play my Japanese Ridge Racer against my friends US Ridge Racer even though we both had Japanese PSPs.
