Making a Magic Memory Stick on Vista!

THIS ONLY WORKS FOR PHAT PSPs! (psp 1000's)

Hey all you vista users who dream of making your magic memory stick some day on your friends XP.
Well wait no longer because there is a way to create your magic memory stick on vista.
It works for me and it should work for you.

It is as easy, if not easier than making it on other systems.

THIS WILL DOWNGRADE YOU TO V 1.5! If you want to know how to get Custom Firmware from 1.5, check for other tutorials

STEP 1: Download this MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

STEP 2: Extract it to your desktop

HERE IS A PICTURE OF ALL THE FILES



STEP 3: Find the program, "START" But dont open it




STEP 4: Right Click on the program, and click "Run as Administrator" Which is usually the second option from the top




STEP 5: A Black Box will pop up and you just have to follow the onscreen instructions





STEP 6: After you finish with the instructions you are done! You have created a magic memory stick.

This memory stick with a pandora battery, is what can unbrick your psp.


REAT THIS!!

But, you dont have Custom Firmware yet, look at other tutorials on how to get from 1.5, to a custom firmware.

If the "Black Box" Part is to confusing to you when you open it, I can help you over IM. It would take forever to put up the screenshots for it.

Good guide Mikesta! For those using Vista this will come in handy... With a few tweaks, this will be worthy of a Sticky if the other Mods and Juggs think it is good enough too.

Youll probably get a few questions, and youll be able to update the tut from those questions.
