PSP: Slim vs. Fat

Yeah it's obvious when you put the two versions together that the phat is the more expensive looking. There's two reasons for this the quality of the outer faceplate and the alloy body. The UMD mechanism is also more substantial- better in my oppinion!! However it was more of a marketing decision to opt to the slim a lot cheaper to produce I would expect.

The slim does feel alot lighter sometimes better for long gaming stints. The slim has its extra's like video out and a brighter screen than the phat,more memory. Place them side by side there's a big difference. I'm sure the 3000 will have it's subtle differences. All in all there's not much in it in terms of real changes I feel. I still play my phat most of the time very hard to find a good one now almost all have died off. Long live the psp!!!!!

He means internal memory mate!! The slim has 64mb of internal memory where the phat has 32mb. What it translates too is faster loading times on games on the slim. Also when you surf the web it can hold more information.Lol

PSP Fat= Feels better than any other psp, cfw.

PSP Slim= 2x memory for faster loading time in games and on internet, brighter screen, cfw, cheap apperance.

PSP 3000= 2x Brighter screen, builting mic, 2x memory for faster loading time in games and on internet, cheap apperance.

PSP Slim is the best of the 3 only cuz the PSP 3000 does not have cfw. 2x speed is what makes it better than the PSP Fat, cuz i have to have speed.

you should try the Origonal xbox controller :P There Giant
