Default MicroSD to MS Duo Pro Adapter

Has anyone here considered using different memory card in place of their MS Pro Duo in their PSP.

Here information about about MicroSD to MS Duo Pro Duo Adapter:

dealextreme.com/details.dx/i.0~sku.12177

I know most (if not all) Sony products (that utilize memory cards) use Memory sticks as the primary memory card format.

All of my devices (cell phones, pda's, laptops, digital cameras) natively accomodate some form of SD (Secure Digital) memory card.

Right now I have several MicroSD cards laying around.
MicroSD cards in my area are noticeably less expensive than similar capacity MS Duo Pro cards.
Also, MicroSD cards are considerably smaller that MS Duo Pro cards. You can fit 3 MicroSD cards in the same space as a single MS Duo Pro card ... although this makes dropping and losing a MicroSD card 3 times easier than losing a MS Duo Pro card.

Because of these reasons, I'm interested in using MicroSD cards on my PSP.

Is there anyone here that has had any experience with memory card adapters like this?
Is there anything I should be concerned about when using such an adapter.

SD cards don't work with the PSP.
Only pro duo.

I understand that SD cards won't physically work or fit in a PSP.

The product that I mentioned in my original post refers to an adapter that puts a MicroSD card into a MS Duo Pro shell, and adapts the MicroSD to use in devices that use MS Duo Pro memory cards.

User reviews on the seller's website indicate that this adapter works on PSPs.

I'm asking for opinions from members on this forum about adapters like this.

Other members have used these cards with adaptors inside their PSP's....

The main issue was

1. Being unable to format the card with the PSP...

2. Being unable to write data to the card using the PSP (Gamesaves etc.)

However, the card would happily read MP3's and other data using the PSP

So as long as you have a card reader and you would just like the PSP to read data, im pretty sure its OK.

Things may have developed since then

I use this. Works like a charm. I love it.

Are there any issues with it like lack of function?

EDIT: Apparently not... get it!
