Default psp battery - what specific type of lithium battery is it?

hi all,

I know the PSP uses a lithium battery - can anyone tell me what sub-type of lithium battery it is e.g. BR Lithium, CR Lithium etc....

cheers!

Check the Sony website, or Google. They both work equally well.

Hmm. I think it's Li-lon lithium. Might be wrong though. Do what prophecy said--check Google.

Never discharge the whole thing. This shortens the life of it. Also, try not to play it while charging. This wasts more energy then it's actually putting into the PSP.

Don't make a habit of discharging the battery to the point where it won't switch on, but do it around once every 30 days to make sure the battery indicator remains accurate.

Charge the battery often and it doesn't matter if you don't charge it fully or only charge it for a short time since li-ion batteries don't have a memory effect.

If you have a spare battery and you're not going to be using it for a while, store it at around half-charge (40% charged is ideal).

I'm not too sure this is true. I have played my PSP for over an hour after just starting to charge it from it being virtually empty. If this were true, it wouldn't have lasted for ten minutes. It will obviously take longer to charge if you are using it.
