Angry PSP crashing!! HELP!

Hi - I'm a nubie on here and have a problem with my PSP crashing all the time!

It seems to have major problems with two games I downloaded and installed through my PS3. (Crash Bandicoot & Crash Team Racing). These are titles that I've downloaded and copied to the memory card on the PSP as instructed. When you start either of the games they barely get past the copyright and intro sequences (before the main menu comes up) - they just freeze after about 10 - 20 secs. The only remedy is to power down the unit and start again - neither of the two games have ever worked - although they work fine on the PS3!!!

Does anybody have a solution to this?! I have tried upgrading the PSP software and deleting the files and installing again but they continue to crash!! I PRESUME the memory card is OK as I can watch movies that I have copied to it!!

Any suggestions are most welcome! Is this a common fault? I have had crashes happen during a couple of UMD games too - although with my lastest game (Lego Star Wars) it's perfect with no problems at all!!

Cheers - any advice is most apriciated!!

Hedge.

Since posting I have downloaded a lite version of Echochrome for PSP through the Playsttion Store on the PS3 - This doesn't even START on my PSP!!

It looks like I might have a faulty console - where or CAN i call somebody at Sony or take my PSP in for 'somebody' to take a look at it?!!! It's really starting to bug me!!!!

Default PSx Games

Hi Mate, Just a thought when you transfered the data to your psp did you use your ps3 cause this could be the problem!!! try going into yr account from yr P.C. you will see all yr current downloads. Transfer yr game directly from yr P.C make sure you copy the licence files also as yr psp needs these to recognise the games. Good luck Chris

Let me know how you get on!!!!!

Thanks for the tip - I will definately give it a go!
To tell you the truth I'd kinda given up as nothing was working at all - the guys at Sony suggested a SONY memory stick!!! I took the finacial plunge (getting a slightly bigger memory than before) and STILL no use!!! Thanks for the tip Sony!
I will give this PC idea a try - sounds more useful than their tip!! CHEERS! :-)
