Default Trying to unbrick my PSP

Ok, I copied the Kernel Kev's unbrick file files to my memory card using my USB card reader - didn't know it took sony card until now! I put in the mem card and than my "TOOL" battery, the PSP's green power LED lit up without me sliding the power switch - and nothing.

When I use my original battery, I have to manually turn on the PSP, and the screen glows a little showing it is on, but with the "TOOL" - it doesn't glow at all. I am wondering if this is normal, am I doing something wrong, or is this PSP just SHOT???

HELP PLEASE!!

So when you put your normal battery on and turn it on you get a green light and a blank screen?

That means its bricked and the only way to unbrick it is by using pandora battery.

Default Unbrick

I deleted the two temp files that were on the brand new card, and then copied the unbrick files to the card. How do I format it? I am using my card reader to transfer the files. Do I need to use my nephews working PSP?

Here are the files I put on the card:

<PSP> Folder
<TM> Folder
150.PBP
340.PBP
390.PBP

I inserted the card into the PSP, and then the "TOOL" battery from DealExtreme, and the green LED lit, but the PSP did nothing at all. Usually with my regular battery, the backlite on the screen lights up a little.

Thanks
