Is there any way a normal 3G phone can be used as a modem for accessing the internet on the PSP??
i.e., creating internet anywhere on the PSP?? Or, any other way of connecting when you're out and about and not using a wi-fi point?? |

What 3G phone do you have? I have an AT&T Tilt, and I can tether other devices to it and share the Internet connection on it. WMWiFiRouter is a program for Windows Mobile phones (WM6) that turns the phone into a WiFi router. However, this program shares the internet connection through an Ad Hoc wireless network. From what I've read and experimented with so far, the PSP requires WiFi Infrastructure mode to access the internet. It looks like the PSP uses WiFI Ad Hoc mode strictly to communicate with other PSPs, and not for Internet access. With the risk of double-posting this question, I'm going to post another message and re-phrase the question. Let me know if you find out anything else on this. |
