Exclamation Need help on how to change mac address

I get this message when i go to game sharing or photo sending or ad hoc mode.
"A connection error has occured (80410702)"

I soon found out what was the problem, My mac address does not match my real mac address.

There is software out there that can change your mac address to match your true mac address, but its outdated and won't work.

I have psp version 4.01 m33-2, any help or suggestions on how to change mac address will be greatly appreciated.

thx.

*EDIT note that there are softwares out there that change the numbers of mac address only, meaning that its a spoof to joke around with your friends. The kind i need is the one that changes the real thing, theres 1 that i know of but its for 3.71 and below. heck the link to it is the one kernel kev gave me. but it doesn't work for 4.01 m33, ****!! sorry for bad language, you don't know how i feel.

Have you tried going into recovery menu and resetting your flash1... dont know if MAC is saved in there but i do know you have to go back through your system settings again.

If you have no themes then id do that... might work.

R-Trigger + power on > Advanced > Format flash1 and reset settings.

Your themes will get wiped off but if you got em saved or backed up you can put them back on there.
