Is it possible to check how long the PSP had been used?
I just bought a PSP recently but suspect that the PSP may have been used by someone else before the purchase. Would like to know whether is there anyway to check the usage hours of the PSP or any other method that prove my suspicion?
This is because many of the settings in the PSP like the WiFi connection had been configured before. Thank you |

if thers setting already in there you dfont need to be sherlock holmes to figure out its been used. howevr not so sure if there arent setting default in there to begin with. I dont know, i bought mine second user and it was in perfect condition (and wot)

No internet connections are on the psp from new, you have to scan for an access point. If an access point is already on your list then the psp has been used and has connected to it before.

Firstly if you bought the psp from a retail outlet and sold as new, nothing should be on there!!! Should be a blank slate. only thing on there should be psp's name (usually a number) and the mac address and that's it.
If you have bought it in good faith, take it back to the store you got it from make sure you show the current settings so they can see someones used it before. You mentioned a stored network.. at the end of the day If it seems ok unit not damaged on outside, i don't suppose it matters in scheme of things. Any doubts though take it back. There should have been a seal on ouside of psp's box. So you know it's not been opened!!!
