Default I have problems with the internet.

I get all the correct settings, on the part between custom, and easy what do I click? Before i clicked Easy, and then it says security error. So I disconnect my laptop. I entered the WEP key what I put in my psp, try it on my laptop and it works. So is this the PSP, my router or what?

I'm on firmware 2.8
