Default Video from Camcorder into PSP

Hi,

I have a Sony camcorder with a faulty LCD screen, which has a mini USB out. I was wondering if I can connect it directly to my PSP if I got hold of a mini USB to mini USB cable, so that I can use the PSP to view video from my camcorder. Anyone tried this?

Thanks

Vidas

Default Video from camcorder into psp

Hi Mate,
I'm sorry this would not work as psp cannot imput via usb there is no option with it's current hardware. Even if you had a slim you could only out put to a source that accepts AV signal or componant. Maybe you could get the screen repaired? How old's the Camcorder? The only way you can view your video would be to upload to your P.C from your camcorder and convert it to watch on psp. Hope this is helpful Chris:-D

Thanks for the reply. I'm now intrigued, as the PSP webcam effectively outputs video to the PSP via USB...

There will be a mod so that you can take the go!cam and change it into something better and/or the other way round with a normal camera... There will probably be a way but it may cost a little bit of money and risk or elecronic goods.
