Default UMDs dont work

This has happened for ages but I've never asked anyone about it,
Basically none of my UMDs work, when I put them in the PSP starts running them and then they just get stuck loading and there's the little circle pulsating at the bottom continually,
I've tried cleaning the inside but that didn't work,
Everything else works, internet, videos etc on the PSP itself work fine, it's just the UMDs,
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Maybe you have fiddled with something... Possibly there is a problem with the laser or something so it can't read the disk properly. Thus meaning that it will take forever to load and never get there.

Yeah, I don't think I've fiddled with anything,
I think I'm just going to have to take it to a repair shop

This happened to me. I threw it on my bed and it worked afterwards. Try it, if you want.
