Default psp problem

hi,

i have a slim psp with firmware 3.90 m33 - 3.
i cannot play video, audio on the psp. also, i can't view images either.
all these used to work earlier.
the games work fine.

any help is appriciated.

i save the videos to the "root/VIDEO" folder.

earlier they used to play fine.
but now, these files are not detected in the psp even when they are present on the meomory stick(4 gb).

There have been isolated reports of this firmware not playing media. It doesnt affect all m33 psp's. Just a handful. I was also a victim of this. Unfortunatley, you cannot downgrade to a previous firmware because the ability to do so was removed in 3.90. You will have to upgrade to 3.95 GEN - hopefully that will solve the problem. Alternatively, its also possible to restore the flash0 with a backup of a previous firmware from ur PC (If you have such a thing), such a 3.71. I did this and restored my abilty to play media once more. I since havent upgraded again
