Default Just got a used PSP. No manual. Charging question:

I have a version 4.0 1001 normal (not slim) PSP. Can I USB charge it? All I have is a car charger, so I want something I can use in the house. I tried to plug it in the USB, and it doesn't work. I thought I heard I could charge through USB.. Did I hear wrong?

You can charge through the usb, but you need the correct lead. You cannot charge through the usb port on the psp but with a lead (usb > charger) then you plug it in where the charger goes.

Dunno if i read you right... You can sharge it just from using the usb bit where the data goes in... I do it all the time.

And yes high roller. I think there is a bit in the manual which tells you how long it takes to charge it with the USB... I think it is about 5 hours more or something (At least!)
