Default Want to buy a psp for homebrew

i am new to the psp and i would like to use homebrew so i can put final fantasy 9 on my psp. is this possible? i would only really want to get a psp so i can play playstation one games on my psp on the go. Are there any simple and easy instructions for noobs on the internet on how to get ps1 games on the psp? thanks in advance

From start to finish its not simple. However youll want to start with cfw. Get the pandora battery, change to custom firmware by downloading the appt files, run it, then make copies of your ps1 games to images, convert them and copy them to memory card.
the process will leave you pulling ur hair out though. as for a guide- I dont know of any but im sure there will be. Many of the members will help you convert to custom firmware, however linking to files which allow you to convert the ps1 images to psp friendly files cannot be posted. contacting the appt members over PM will help. I suggest buying the pandora battery before attempting to understand the rest of it
